More wild flowers in Gern

Replace the grass around the Hubertusn brunnen at the end of Schloss canal towards Don Pedro strasse with wild flowers and plants that love shade under the existing trees for sustainable environment.

Plant wild flower meadows in cities reduce overflow of water to the urban drainage systems. They also provide habitat for bees and butterflies much more efficiently compared to left alone grasses. The seeds for a variety of plants are important for pollinators. Humans also find retreat that helps them keep balance in their footsteps without the need to travel far to find peace of mind. This reduces use of cars/trains etc thus reducing pollution. There is already some wild flowers at the side north and south of the Schloss canal but not nearly as many as I imagine. I am talking about a little urban meadow planted with self sustainable plants to improve the appearance and the function of this spot to humans and nature alike.

This idea may need a total anout 3-5,000 Euros including labor workers to clean the ground and remove debris. Plants and seeds are cheep may be 1000 Euros. Volunteers can do the planting.

There are people in my neiborhood who love gardening. The Taxis Kleine Garden is close by and some volunteers can come from there if invited to participate. I suspect no more than 10 volunteers are needed. I can find them.
